Earlier this month, we posted about the CEO Alumni LinkedIN page. It invites students who have completed the CEO program to join and follow a network to support one another.
In an online meeting this week, three CEO alumni were speakers to this year's students throughout the United States as part of the "Fearless Founders" series. Those speakers were:
Ben Flath, 2023 Sullivan County CEO, founder of Excursions Automotive Repair.
Ashley Leman, 2022 Woodford County CEO, founder of Revive Coffee Roasters.
Alex Eckhardt, 2021 Adams County CEO, founder of Q-Town Kicks.
Ben, Ashley, and Alex have sat in the same seats and worn the same shoes as this year's CEO students. These alumni each applied to be in the program and faced the same challenges in class as the hundreds of current students throughout dozens of CEO programs across the country.
In an interactive Zoom meeting, Ben, Ashley, and Alex shared lessons learned in CEO that have carried them through their own endeavors as business owners. Networking, customer relationships, product development, marketing, etc. were part of their class and individual businesses. Now, these help pay their bills. Hearing from CEO students just one or two years out of the program and asking them questions makes a lasting impression on investors, counselors, board members, applicants, and communities.
No doubt, Vigo County CEO alumni will be telling their story to classes one day!
